This has been my idea in the making for ages now .... I wanted to start buying, testing, and reviewing every brand and model of binoculars that I can get my hands on. Although, expensive, I want to do this to provide accurate feedback and info that seems impossible to find. It seems binoculars are the only product for which I can honestly say product reviews are hard to come by.Here's a quick side story; I recently went on a trip to South Africa and wasn't able to purchase any decent binoculars before I left. I ended up in quite a predicament as I had no clue where to buy a decent pair overseas. I got lucky and borrowed a pair from my tour guide for the entire trip. As I had guessed, the guy was used to tourists forgetting their binoculars or not even thinking about the necessity of them on a Safari. Truthfully, I don't think the trip would have been half as enjoyable with them -- call me captain obvious!
Anyways, back to binoculars -- Who's along for the ride? Through the good, the bad, and the ugly ... the journey through the binocular brands!
